Wood Burning Lazy Susan Workshop (18+)

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on creative workshop at The Market 42 where you’ll design and create your own 10” handmade wood Lazy Susan using a unique torch paste technique that brings your design to life right before your eyes.

This is a beginner-friendly experience, no prior crafting experience needed.

What You’ll Create:
You’ll design and finish a functional 10” handmade wood Lazy Susan perfect for your kitchen, dining table, backyard cookouts or as a handmade gift.

Choose your finishing style:
Food-safe cutting board oil (ready to use same night)
OR stained finish (sealer recommendation provided for at-home curing)

The Experience (This is the fun part):
This workshop centers around a unique heat-activated wood burning process.
Using a heat gun and torch paste technique, you’ll literally watch your design burn into the wood in real time, creating a rich, permanent effect.

• Guests will be guided step-by-step on proper technique and safety
• Heat guns will be available for participant use
• If you prefer not to use the heat gun yourself, the instructor can complete that step for you

This is a true “watch-it-come-to-life” creative experience.

Design Options:
A variety of stencil designs will be available, including:
Farmhouse & rustic patterns
Seasonal themes
Simple phrase designs
Beginner-friendly graphic layouts
(Example design will be shown at the event.)

• Age Requirement: 18+ only
• Seats Available: Limited to 14 participants
• Price: $55 per person (pre-registration required) ($65 per person at the door)

Food & Drinks:
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Market 42 vendors. Guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner and drinks and make it a full Friday night experience.
